Booklicious: Bookcase Wednesday

Wednesday already? Sheesh. Well, happy hump day, folks - here's your weekly bookcase fix.

I wanted to make this a city vs. country post but realized that doesn't exactly work, since clouds also grace cities with their presence. So I'm a bit deflated now. And feeling slightly ridiculous that such a daft idea even popped into my head. Well, let's take this tack, then. I see Carl Hagerling's Cumulus bookshelf as being perfect for a child's room, whereas the City shelf is a bit more sophisticated. I think it'd be especially great if the cityscape were used to hold urban-themed books like Frank Gehry in Pop-Up, Banksy's Wall and Piece and Jane Jacobs' seminal work, The Death and Life of Great American Cities. As for the Cumulus shelf; well, we all see something different in clouds, so I'll leave that up to you.

(Apologies for the bratty-sounding opener today - apparently, I'm more tired than I suspected. But there's to be no rest for the weary until at least Monday night...)
