BookExpo America
The largest annual book trade fair in the country, BookExpo America is a behemoth of an event (more than 27,000 attended the 2010 event). BEA 2011 will take place May 23-27 in New York City. (BEA is strictly an industry event and is closed to the general public.)
Convention Scene tracks a range of events in North America, Europe and Australia, including comic book conventions and book festivals.

This is one incredible site. Maintained by Helen and Tom Oram and updated daily, the site lists a vast array of books sales in the U.S. and Canada. Searchable by region, state and city, sales are listed up to nine months in advance and include detailed information about the event. You also can sign up to receive emails about upcoming sales in your area.
Library Book Sales
This unique site lets you search affiliated libraries for collectible and quality books (not discards). All proceeds from a sale go to the library selling that book.
