Booklicious: Bookcase Wednesday

So far, I've dedicated a Bookcase Wednesday to cat lovers and one to bull lovers (all three of you) — now here's one for all you dog lovers. This collection of pieces is Nel Studio's Pack of Dogs project. The collection consists of six teak pieces modeled roughly on a dog's shape, each with a different size and shape and each bearing the name of a Mexican wrestler (sadly, there's no backstory given about this). Nel Studio's designers see the pieces working in multiple ways — as bookshelves, bookends, side tables, even as benches. As you can see, though, placing the pieces together can produce a perhaps awkward image:

If you don't understand what I'm talking about — bless you. Your mind obviously steers clear of the gutter mine lives in.

You can learn about ordering info here, though the Kirk Gallery site is no longer active.

Yes, I think I'd have only one. Or two — but not touching.
