The closet situation is one of the worst parts of renting. And although I know anyone in New York would regard my complaints with a mixture of pity and rage (seriously, NY is the city the closet fairy forgot), I still get all dreamy-eyed thinking about the custom closet I can get Michael to build for me when we become homeowners. But although I'd pictured sizes, styles, and wood choices, I had clearly been remiss by not including bookshelves in my mental sketches. Look how perfect these are! What better place to put fashion-, style-, and etiquette-related books?

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some serious revamping to do.
