Booklicious: Roundup: Dog Bookends

Since Michael and I are 9-5ers who live in an apartment, we're currently dog-less, which makes me moon over the neighborhood canines like most women ogle pretty babies. It's a tough life. If you're in the same situation, it looks like we can bring some canine into our lives with some doggy bookends, though. It wasn't so long ago that the only options for dog bookends were absolutely hideous, but a few modern designs have emerged in the past couple of years, thank goodness. (And if you're a Dachshund lover, you're particularly in luck.)

Ceramic Dachshund bookends by Jonathan Adler; Nordstrom; $150

Pug bookends; Z Gallerie; $14.95

Canine companion bookends in French Bulldog (also available in Pug); ModCloth; $55.99

Acrylic Dachshund bookends by Spisani; Barneys New York; $265

Thurber's dog bookends; Levenger; $99

Fu dog bookends; CB2; $49.95

White resin Dachshund bookends by Jonathan Adler; Barnes and Noble; $27.96
